The Wind
In the wild, vast ocean,
I was lost;
Like a ship, with sails,
Yet no wind;
From nowhere, then
Did you blow upon;
Gentle, strong,
Cool and warm;
Caught off guard!
Oh! dear friend,
Jolted by your,
Sheer warmth;
I was rocked;
Swept off!
Yet preserved; and
Pushed forth!
You, my friend,
Being the wind;
Set the ship,
Sailing again!
